The nights are drawing in soon now and even sooner this weekend.
A late outing along the Bradshaw Fields and up to have a look at Ned Hill Track, then along Percy Road and down Taylor Lane.
A very calm, dull evening (not helping the quality of the photos) but quite an enjoyable birding stroll.
Birds:
The Bradshaw fields had 2 Green Woodpecker knocking about.
Also here 3 Red Legged Partridge.
Another look for the Black Redstart did not locate the bird but the old farm buildings and old farm machinery further along look ideal turf for it to hang about unseen.
Other birds - Jackdaws, 2 Stock Dove, 2 Jay, Pheasant, Kestrel and c30 Meadow Pipit seen from Ned Hill Track.
