Hollingworth Lake and Soil Hill

A beautiful sunny day today, staying cold but pleasant enough in the sun.
Later, on Soil Hill, the north side grass was still showing signs of frost.

Hollingworth Lake:

The usual birds about for here.

20+ Teal, 90 Lapwing.
3 Great Crested Grebe.
Heron. Canada Geese.
Lesser Black-backed Gull, Herring Gull,
Black Headed Gull. Jackdaw.
Mallard. Moorhen.
10+ Cormorant.

A good search through the '100's' of Black Headed Gull did not reveal anything special but ... who knows?

Soil Hill:

A very late visit to Soil Hill in search of Snow Bunt was cold but pleasant.
Pr. Pheasant scared the living daylights out of me as they noisily flushed from underfoot.
A couple of hardy Meadow Pipit, Wren, Kestrel was about me lot.

Some beautiful colours as the sunset over Ogden.
