Todmorden to Sowerby Bridge Walk

11:50 - 16:30 (dark).

A foggy start in Bradshaw this morning.

We were planning on walking from home to Haworth today, so we hung around a while to see if the fog would lift.
In the end we decided to catch a few buses to Todmorden and walk back to Sowerby Bridge, with a treat of a curry at The Kitchen Café at Mytholmroyd along the way.
(Café is closed for Christmas for 2 weeks from this Friday).
A longish walk along the canal with 2 detours off the canal and onto the busy road, due to repair works.

The sun eventually popped out for about 15 mins before lights out.

(Alan - if you read this - my apologies for not recognizing you!
If you don't read this you don't know what you are missing).

Birds:

No bins, no camera an urban clearway no stopping today.

2 Grey Wagtail.
2 Heron.
6 Goosander (1pr + 3 Male + 1 Female).
Green Woodpecker calling - Mytholmroyd.
2 Moorhen.
