Local circular

12:50 - 14:45.

The bright sunshine this morning was soon mugged by the misty stuff rising from the valley.
Some of the gunge was burnt back to give a bit of cloud with some bright bits - the wind on Soil Hill a surprise.
It really should not be a surprise though, should it!

Bradshaw:

Pr. Little Owl.
6 Redwing.
1 Mistle Thrush.
c20 Woodpigeon.

Ned Hill Area:

4 Herring Gull.
Black Headed Gull.
Common Gull.

Soil Hill.

Heron.

2 Syklarks flushed from near the W. path.
1 rose quickly with a half hearted burst of song.
The second bird quickly followed keeping lower as it burbled away.

Taylor Lane:

Grey Wagtail on the midden.

An enjoyable outing with another tick to keep my list moving along.

I wonder if it's too late for Soil Hill to give us a winter surprise maybe a rare Bunting?
