Soil Hill, Bradshaw etc

We enjoyed a walk along the canal from 5 rise locks Bingley this morning with a visit to the café there.
No bins or camera with me here.
Best of the birds seen were:-
f. Goosander.
Sparrowhawk.
4 Greenfinch, heard, at different places along the canal.
The large flock of 'domesticated' white Geese have bred with the Greylags. There are some pretty colourful offspring here.

c30 Lapwing were seen over the Raggalds as we came home.

Soil Hill etc.

15:00 - 16:30.

A visit to a windy Soil Hill this afternoon.
Bits of light drizzle did not spoil thing too much.

Birds:

3 Herring Gull overhead.
2 Stock Dove.
30+ Fieldfare.

A very pleasing sight from Ned Hill Track of a Little Owl in a new location for me.

A Kestrel was seen on the wires along Taylor Lane.
A few other sp. (but not many).

An enjoyable saunter.
