Ringby Lane / Top (Swalesmoor)

13:00 - 14:30

Cool but sunny, picked the wrong venue! very tough going.
Lots of mud and ripe smelling gunge!

Some Large Gulls that I struggle to ID but I've given it a go!!

Birds:

Usual Corvids (no Raven).
3 Pied Wagtail.
2 Skylark over calling in flight.
2 Stock Dove very distant.
c20 Woodpigeon.
3 Meadow Pipit.
Just a few large Gulls over the top all distant.
(not a decent picture of any of 'em).
1 Fieldfare.
1 Starling.

Raggalds Flood was frozen over when we passed, on a walk, this morning.

A really old joke:

Son: Daddy, Daddy there's a man at the door with a bald head.
Daddy: Tell him I've already got one.
