The Garden Today - Tuesday 24th March

A day spent mostly in the garden today on a bright sunny day with a cold wind later in the afternoon.

A prompt from DJS this aft. encouraged me to make a list of the birds seen, to see how many different sp. that I might record.

I got some good birds 'sky-watching' and tried my best to ID them and get a photograph, but I don't find them easy to ID I'm afraid, especially as most of the photos show the bird from underneath.

I've got a measly 17 sp. so far, including and undisclosed sp. seen on Sunday.

Top of the shop today were Raven, Greenfinch, Curlew calling, 3 Buzzards and 7 or Herring Gull and maybe a Lesser Black-backed see final Gull photo.

I managed to get the last hand sanitiser from Tesco today.
I got some strange looks from customers though, as I unscrewed it from the gents toilet wall.

A few photos:-
I'll attempt to identify them!

Bit flummoxed with this and the next photo of the same bird.
Very large Wingspan.
A Gull but which one?
Looks to have a dark head on the above photo.
