Tuesday 21st Sunny - strong bitter east wind

A clear blue sky again, lots of sunshine with the bitter cold, strong, easterly wind for company.
The garden sky watch turned out to be a  waste of time, but I've got plenty of time to waste!
Just corvid ,Woodpigeon and a few Swallow moving about with my usual garden birds.

The exercise walk brightened me up though.

Linnet in a tree top.
Lesser Black-backed Gull > E along the farm track.
Willow Warbler singing near Ned Hill Lane end.

A short saunter along Ned Hill Track and back again, brought a M Stonechat on the way there and a F Stonechat on the way back.

The M Stonechat was calling / singing from a wall top.

I gave Soil Hill a miss with the wind near gale force out of the shelter along Ned Hill Track.

Also about, Pr. Mallard, Skylark, a few Meadow Pipit (1 in a tree) and a well camouflaged Pied Wagtail keeping out of the wind in the Taylor Lane midden.
