Wednesday 15th Hot all day

Hot and sunny today with a few wispy clouds after 5pm.
My garden list has been stuck at the traffic lights on 40 for ages now.
Another day and another exercise walk after lunch.
In the heat of the day, is probably not the best time for our outing - same birds seen as yesterday, more or less.

It was good to get a singing Linnet on the beech hedge this afternoon though.

A Sparrowhawk whizzed past into a large tree (and disappeared)  beyond our garden.
30 minutes later it whizzed back again within 20 feet.
Pity I was reading, otherwise I might have got a photo.

Birds:

Garden.
Greenfinch, Linnet, Wren, Goldfinch and a few others.
Swallows High > N calling.

Walk.
Curlew, Skylark, Meadow Pipit, Moorhen.

Lovely skies late evening.
