(Buzzard over late yesterday evening).
Hot and sunny until teatime when a bit of light rain came along.
Today's exercise walk - can you guess where?
Bradshaw Fields:
'Interesting' Goose Airborne, calling could be a Greylag Goose or even a Pink Footed Goose!
The call seemed quieter than a Canada Goose.
With the bird flying into the sun though the colours (or lack of them)
could just make it a Canada Goose.
Little Owl, Distant Partridge sp.
Ned Hill Road:
Pr. Linnet.
Ned Hill Track:
Willow Warbler, Whitethroat, Greenfinch.
Soil Hill:
Willow Warbler, Linnet, Whitethroat, Meadow Pipit, Skylark.
Nearing the quarry along the East/West in the scrub near the wall "A N Other bird" had a 2 note call.
I didn't eyeball it and I didn't know the call ….I like to be helpful.
At the same moment a Sparrowhawk glided through putting the "cat among the pigeons" and kyboshing any attempt to locate my mystery bird.
1 Sand Martin was seen in the quarry.
Taylor Lane:
Little Owl.
Garden Watch - hot pm:
2 Swift flew past together.
Plenty Swallow about now.
