Today the wind was cold on the hill but Ned Hill Track, in the sunshine and shelter was surprisingly warm.
It was very cold in the garden, with brisk the N or NE wind, making the sky watch a non-event.
More or less the same birds as yesterday with an addition of a Partridge flushed from the North side contour path - probably a Grey Partridge but I'm by no means positive.
A lot less birdsong than yesterday.
Birds:-
Willow Warbler, Whitethroat, Skylark, Meadow Pipit.
6 Lapwing, Curlew, Mallard, Linnet.
c6 Lesser Black-backed Gulls over.
Stock Dove.
Little Owl on Taylor Lane(nearly missed it).
Those partridge are often really difficult to identify when they fly away, really low down, without calling John. I have the same problem though more often than not they are RLP rather than our Grey P.
