Windy but bright - Soil Hill

It was very sunny and mild on a very late afternoon visit to Soil Hill today.
The very strong westerly was still present scuppering things a bit.
The north end of Ned Hill Track is protected by large conifers and it was very calm and pleasant here.
The lockdown has increased the number of dog walkers here nowadays.

Birds:-

Soil Hill:

c10 Lesser Black-backed Gulls >W.
Curlew, Mallard, Willow Warbler, Swift, Swallow, Meadow Pipit.
Kestrel, Whitethroat .

Ned Hill Track:

Willow Warbler, 2 Whitethroat, Meadow Pipit, Skylark, Wren, Blackbird.

Percy Road to Home:

Kestrel, Mistle Thrush, Stock Dove.

A singing Whitethroat was opposite the Taylor Lane Midden.
Another singing Whitethroat was at the bottom of 'The Bonnet' as I neared home, a nice surprise.

An enjoyable saunter.

See what happens during lockdown with nowt to do.
