Soil Hill - Still Plugging Away

Another day, another walk up to an around Soil Hill after lunch.
It was a dry day but extremely windy, especially on the west side.

Birds:-

Pr. Pheasant with 4 young birds in tow.
Little Owl, Meadow Pipit, Skylark.

3 Whitethroat singing - 4 or 5 notes repeated.
The strong wind was blowing the bushes about making it difficult to get focus.

2 Willow Warbler singing.
6 or so Linnet seen.
Pr. Stock Dove zoomed past.
A few Lesser Black-backed Gulls overhead.

The large Gulls seem to float on by on the look out for something but I can't recall one locating anything and landing to get it.
Even the Large Gulls that are mega high always seem to be on the look out.

A very shy Whitethroat in among the swaying branches.

This nearby Linnet was a bit easier to focus on.
