Local

I stayed local today, not much birding time really.

From the garden this morning - a Raven passed nearby, mobbed by other Corvids and a Buzzard was mega high.
Took the bins off the Buzzard to try and get a photo but I could not re-locate it!

Our exercise walk (no bins etc) took in a bit of Percy Road, the Soil Hill contour path and Soil Hill main track.
Usual Meadow Pipit and Skylark seen plus a Sparrowhawk drifted north.

A very short stroll, before tea, along the local fields was interesting with at least 3 Little Owl to watch for a while.
One bird was very dark coloured.
They normally sit still in the same place but 2 of these were fairly mobile moving from wall to wall.
One Owl looked to be feeding another one.

Also seen 3 noisy Herring Gull heading towards Ringby Top, a few Swallow, Lesser Black-backed Gull, at least 6 Mistle Thrush, a Wren and a few Meadow Pipits was about all.
