Late afternoon and a change from Ogden (not the ideal place at the weekends) with a drive over to Ponden.
The weather was unpleasant with horizontal heavy drizzle blown along by a strong SW wind.
I met the bus, at the roomy terminus bus stop, at the bottom of Best Lane and smiled - last time I met the bus in Oxenhope, it was awkward, I had to reverse back a bit with the driver behind me not wanting to go backwards!
The smile disappeared when I met a large Range Rover pulling a wide trailer, a bit further along ,and I had to …... reverse back a bit!
Very dull not very conducive for good photos.
I called at Leeshaw Reservoir on the way home.
Ponden:
Common Sandpiper very flighty.
2 Grey Wagtail
6 or so Oystercatcher.

Black Headed Gull. (inv. Juveniles) distant.
