Thursday - Local Fields:
I had a short stroll along the local fields Thursday afternoon.
Warm and sunny.
Birds:
2 Little Owl.
Kestrel.
Friday - Ringstone am / Ogden pm.
We called at Ringstone for 30 minutes after a visit to Sowerby Bridge.
Gales and heavy rain making it very unpleasant.
Birds:
2 Great Crested Grebe.
c100 Small Gulls - all looked to be Black Headed Gulls from the photos.
A couple of Lesser Black-backed Gulls battling the wind also.
2 Grey Wagtail were in the concrete drain near the Halifax Waste Recycle centre this aft.
Ogden late afternoon:
Windy here but mostly dry, with the odd light shower.
Birds:
Tough going again with the wind a major factor.
(Hoping that the weather might have brought something in)
6 Swallow.
Lesser Black-backed Gull.
Black Headed Gull.
Mallard.
Cormorant.
Willow Warbler.
1 Great Crested Grebe.
Kestrel.
and a few others.
