A late afternoon, short visit, up to and around the Soil Hill contour path. Windy with light showers - missed the 'drenchers' by a whisker today.
Not much moving about in these conditions.
c20 Mistle Thrush were on a pylon with a few Starlings.
One or two birds looking a bit Fieldfare'esqe - but a bit early for Fieldfare.
Taylor Lane area had just 2 Common Gulls, Stock Dove and a few Woodpigeon.
A solitary Swallow was fly catching around the large Sycamore Tree there - but no sign of the Little Owl(s).
The usual Corvids - Carrion Crow, Jackdaw, Magpie, Rook.
Lots of Gulls in the final field before Thornton Road, seen from Soil Hill.
3 Pheasant near NK Pond with a Mallard on the pond.
A Herring Gull and Lesser Black-backed Gull overhead was about all.
