Hunstanton - Norfolk

A rare outing, to Hunstanton - Norfolk for a few days this week.
Very busy Sunday afternoon when we arrived to brilliant sunshine but more relaxed later on.

A trip to a sunny Titchmarsh on Tuesday afternoon was greeted with a warden waving us on and a "Car Park Full" sign by the enterance, so a wasted trip.

Further along the road there is a real beaut of a place.
A turn off the main road down a rough track to a small harbour area - Brancaster Staithe - with a Crab Hut and lots of small boats.
A long queue for the Crab sandwiches never lessened in the hour or so we were here.

Boats were lined up at the side of the track and an elderly gentleman was getting his ready for the incoming tide.
He had it on a trailer and jumped into his car to hook it up, but the boat had other ideas and made a getaway, banging his car in the process - luckily we were able to grab the boat!
The man did not seem at all perturbed by the bang on this expensive looking motor!

Some decent mud here and a few Waders to go with it.

Some good bike rides during our stay, one actually to a pub.
First Pub visit since April time and Fish and Salad for tea made a nice change for Sue.

The weather was either hot or very hot, although the morning of our departure, Wednesday, was cool and cloudy and distinctly yukky at home late afternoon with drizzle and murk.
