I decided to scrap the exercise walk today and opted for an exercise wade, late afternoon, at Ogden.
A wet or very wet outing, but there were a few hardy souls out and about around the circuit.
Nice to have a short chat with Chris S. by the visitors centre.
Very tough going bird wise.
Chaffinch and Great, Blue and Coal Tit by the reservoir house.
2 Goosanders on the water for a time before they both left > S.
A Kingfisher that flushed from the West side bushes, flew out over the water, not to be relocated.
The very few Gulls that were here, were mostly Herring Gulls at one point.
I'm struggling for Wildfowl this year with just Mallard here in the Duck category, again.
Still, its good to get out and about - better day in prospect tomorrow.
