Local Walk

No birding today, just a stroll around locally and a long stint, in the garden sun,  gazing at the blue sky.

A couple of Canada Geese and a Heron flew past the house early on.

On the stroll, it was good to catch sight of a very distant Stonechat as I was scanning the Taylor Lane walls for a Little Owl (unseen).

Just Crows, Woodpigeon and some Gulls seen from the garden, nearly all very distant.

There seems to be plenty of Gulls soaring over Halifax but very few come over Bradshaw.

A few 'large black birds", way off, headed towards Bradshaw but always seem to veer off to my right (west) before reaching us!

A look at the Raggalds 'Flood' found very little water and no birds!
