Ogden Water

Abi with us today and a very busy day for all 3 of us.

She seems to grow out of something or other every week now!

After the deluge I had a drive over to Ogden Water, hoping for a rare Wader or two.

Live in hope ...

Lots of shoreline but nothing special here again.

Ogden has been really disappointing so far this spring, hopefully the warmer weather and some south in the breeze might improve the situation.

There is probably too much disturbance here nowadays, with the circuit very popular with walkers with and without dogs enjoying the scenery.

Birds:-

Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff, Blackcap.

Great Spotted Woodpecker.

A Buzzard flew over the promenade, mobbed by Crows.

Curlew called from the moors.

Great Crested Grebe, stayed as far away as possible throughout.

Pr. Tufted Duck, Green Woodpecker.

2 Goldcrest, Cormorant.
