Abi to entertain today, a hot and sunny outing.
After a short garden watch we first went to Bradshaw Park where Abi tried out her new Skateboard as well as the usual football.
New to the skateboard, Abi had me pulling her along until she got her balance.
A Whitethroat was in the bushes just above the Cricket Pavillion.
After a sit down and an ice cream at home, we went to Holmefield Park for a repeat perfomance.
Funnily enough Whitethroat were seen here also, with two sightings.
An information board in the park shows a picture of a Lesser Pecker - I should have take a photo of it - probably as near as I'll get to one in my lifetime!
A few Gulls were seen from the garden, mostly high and distant over Swalesmoor / Oats Royd.
Airborne Raptors are short in supply at the moment.
2 Swifts over Bradshaw Lane earlier and a further 4 Swifts were seen from the garden with 3 or so Swallow.
A late evening stroll up the local fields did not have much to going for it.
