Whiteholme Reservoir - Little Stint - Lifer

 I had a try for the Little Stint, reported at Whitehome Reservoir this morning.

We could not get free until late afternoon and I though that with dog walkers and, given my twitching record,  I would be on to a loser...but I did get to see the bird!

Great to chat with NCD and DF (who I failed to recognise in their summer plumage) up there and some great views of the Little Stint via NCD's scope was very rewarding.

This is a lifer for me.

Also here were 6 or so Dunlin and 2 Little Ringed Plover and a few other sp.
