Bradshaw - Holdsworth Circular

Abi with us today and after a real grotty, foggy, damp morning the weather finally improved with the sun appearing after lunch.

We had a game of football in Bradshaw Park and afterwards I had a short birding outing to Holdsworth and back.

Very tough going today with not much stirring at all.

Just the usual birds seen, but it was pleasing to see young Swallows being fed as the perched on a wire fence and telephone lines.

Linnet, Greenfinch, Goldfinch and a few others seen as expected.

Gulls were relaxing on the roof of the industrial estate near Holdsworth - Lesser Black-backed and Black Headed,

Later, in the evening,  6 Lesser Black-backed Gulls > E and a Heron flew over as I sat in the garden.
