Sewerby / Bridlington / Whitby

We decided to leave the nice sunny weather in Halifax and have a few days away this week along the east coast where the weather was unusually cold, damp and very windy!

We had a trip to Whitby where the sea was crashing about and lots of holiday makes were making the most of the Great British weather.

Birds:-

Wrong time of year for many waders so I had to make do with a few Gulls.

Perhaps half a dozen nesting Fulmar were also good to see on the Whitby cliffs and a late evening stroll, near our Caravan Park, across the Sewerby Golf Course revealed a Kestrel, Yellowhammer and Reed bunting.

A Buzzard or two were seen along the way also.
