Saltaire and Local Fields (Sunday)

A walk at Saltaire along the canal and the river Sunday afternoon and a pleasant stop at the Cricket Club café.

Birds:-

Dipper and 4 Grey Wagtail on the weir near the rowing club.

Mute Swan on the river.

Family of Long Tailed Tits along the river path.

A Raptor high over Little Egypt on our way home was probably a Sparrowhawk.

Great views across the valley towards Soil Hill here, but no sign of the Doe Park / Ogden Osprey for me today as I kept a beady eye out.

Local:

A local stroll Sunday evening brought with it a Little Owl and not a lot else ... quite cold.
