Bradshaw - local fields

All Souls Church, Boothtown,  was open to the public today and we had a visit there this afternoon.

Some tea and cake was available across the road at the dance school.

A magnificent piece of architecture that, sadly is not used now-a-days.

The money needed to stop it deteriorating must be hard to come by and to convert it into a 'useable' building does not seem to be an option.

Some of the outside  is strapped to keep it safe.

The pretty exterior must rank with one of the most beautiful buildings of its kind in Yorkshire.

Birds:-

A short evening walk along the local fields today.

A cool westerly wind was present with the usual birds hereabouts.

Little Owl, Lesser Black Back Gulls, 3 Starlings, Jackdaws, c46 Linnet on a power line at one point and...

the usual Magpies and Crows.

Some poor photos of Linnet, against the light.
