Pugney's Country Park - Wakefield Area

A ride out to Pugney's via a few shops.

A real scorcher today with the temperature reaching 28 deg.

One hot circuit of the lake was all we could manage.

Its a bit smelly around the edge of the lake - the forecast thunder storms, later in the week, will probably clear some of the stinky stuff!

Birds: (well some of 'em).

Mallard, Cormorant, Willow Warbler, Pochard.

Heron, Coot, Tufted Duck, Teal.

Black Headed Gull, Herring Gull, Lesser- black Backed Gull.

c20 Mute Swan, Pied Wagtail. Lapwing.

A few others calling from the lake side bushes choosing not to move in the heat.

Kestrel, Great Crested Grebe.

Some Ducks asleep at distance Gadwall and Wigeon (possibly).
