The first day of Abi's holiday and we enjoyed 10 hours out and about. mostly at Ilkley.
A bright day with some showers but we missed most of the very wet stuff.
First a long look at the shops, then a snack, Sue and Abi had some playground, river hopping and football , while I had a short birding walk along the river Wharf.
Reasonably quite in the town, with the exception of Bettys Tea room where there was a big queue.
A very late lunch of fish and chips in the Riverside hotel was great value as we chose from "the old farts" , sorry, senior menu.
On the way home we called at Bingley St. Ives where Abi enjoyed the big slide and the zip wire, Dark as we got home - phew! (hope she wants to do some crayoning tomorrow).

Long Tailed Tit.
Mallard.
