Leeshaw Reservoir- Oxenhope

We decided to have a treat today, with a fish butty, before all the Christmas jock takes over.

We headed off to a great little chippy that's along Marsh Lane towards Haworth.

Unfortunately it was closed for Christmas!

We found an equally good one though at Cross Roads a bit further away.

Before getting fat on the whopping butty I had a short look at Leeshaw Reservoir, which was just below the cloud line.

Another grey, drizzly one and very dull.

Plenty of Gulls in the fields nearby but a bit distant to see without a scope -and it was not the weather for standing about with a scope either, with this low drizzle blown along.

I took some photos to look through when I got home.

Birds:-

Herring Gull, Common Gull, Black Headed Gull.

Greylags Geese.

3 Goosanders, very distant on the water.

Not much else.

A few "close but no cigar" Med Gull moments.

**Very Best Wishes for Christmas - and many thanks for taking the time to look in**
