Ogden - Dense Fog

had a run out to Ogden after lunch and did a slow circuit of the water.

On arrival there was just 20 yds or so visibility over the water, the fog did clear temporarily as I walked along the west side but it had reformed very soon after.

I could hear Large Gulls calling for the middle of the reservoir and a few smaller Gulls were visible near the promenade.

I went past the Raggalds Flood on my way to an aborted trip to Tesco  (the queue went into the car park) but the fog was too thick to see the water - if there is any water!

Quite a few cars driving bart lights as I went through Mountain in the thickest of the stuff.

Birds:

Herring Gull, Black Headed Gull, Common Gull.

2 Canada Geese.

6 Goldcrest and 4 Treecreeper seen here, but there were plenty more judging by the constant contact calls.

Another disappointing Ogden trip with Whoopers and Goldeneye seen elsewhere in Calderdale earlier today -  Boo Hoo!
