Local Birding Tread

A cold frosty morning and a trip to Specsavers to get my eye furniture repaired.

My googles were good as new, later, so I should be able to see a knat flying at 10,000 feet!

After I got home, I had a walk up to check on Raggalds Flood, forgetting that it would be frozen - doh!

No birds there.

With no time for a  Soil Hill  extravaganza today, I just carried on up Percy Rd and down Taylor Lane.

It was good to see c40 Fieldfare in with a flock of Starlings in the fields off Taylor Lane and on the wires.

A few Common Gulls were in the fields below Roper Lane.

Not much else on offer today.

A "stand" by me, sky watching from Aldi's car park , failed to to locate the Pinkies reported > W  on the grapevine this afternoon.
