Thornton Cycle Track and Ogden to Bradshaw

A dull breezy day today with some nuisance  drizzle late pm.

The usual walk after lunch along the Thornton cycle track to the Queensbury tunnel and back.

A quick stop at the Junction Lodge cafĂ© for a coffee and flapjack - sat in one of their huts out of the cold was nice and relaxing.

On our way home, Sue dropped me off at Ogden so I could enjoy a birding walk home.

It was dark when I got home (17:00).

Birds:

Thornton Cycle Track:

6 Mistle Thrush ( 2 Singing).

A Great Spotted Woodpecker called once and drummed once (not seen).

Ogden: (very dark).

8 Goldcrest.

Moorhen.

Usual Gulls as far as I could tell.

Sparrowhawk.

Enjoyable despite the lack of birds!

Cycle Track:

Ogden:

Distant Sparrowhawk.
