A pleasant morning with some nuisance rain, but lots of dry weather. Misty looking towards town as I spent most of the morning sky watching.
PD reported some Whooper Swan in flight and I managed to pick them out, although they were very, very low, south of me in the misty stuff, heading west.
Other than the Whoopers, the sky was mostly quiet, although a Sparrowhawk , looked 'different' in flight, with its flap, flap lifting in the air higher than usual.
As usual birds seen from my vantage point are way over towards Halifax. This 'Sparrowhawk being no exception.
This afternoon I spent a couple of hours along the local fields, as far as the bottom of Ned Hill Road and back.
More bird movement than of late with a 'tick' as well, so quite an enjoyable saunter.
Looks like today was the last dry warmish day for the foreseeable future?
