Another cold day in the strong NE blow in the garden this morning, not bad though in the shelter of Shelf Woods this afternoon. A very short outing up the local fields after tea was very cold.
A garden watch hoping for a Comic Tern failed to see one.
I'll have to wait for John Bishop to come ont' Telly I guess.
Just a few Gulls moving with ease in the strong wind seen.
I did see a 'Kestrel' very distant , mobbed by a Magpie , early on though.
We called at Kendals Ice Cream parlour on our way home from Shelf - very nice indeed.
Birds:-
Garden:
1 Swallow, Kestrel, A few Gulls passing by.
Shelf Woods:
Great Spotted Woodpecker.
3 Blackcap.
Nuthatch.
The Bluebells look in good form.
Local Fields:
Lesser Black-backed Gull.
2 Red Legged Partridge.
A Few Meadow Pipit.
Stock Dove.
Very quite this evening.
