Local Circular ( And tale of woe)

Go straight to "Birds:-" if you don't want to be upset and use up all your Kleenex reading this first bit..

boo hoo ðŸ˜ŸðŸ˜ŸðŸ˜Ÿ.

A visit to Hatties Cafe in Harden Garden Centre today for lunch with some friends, afterwards Sue decided she needed a replacement tyre for her car, so we went to PSM Tyres in Brighouse , and ordered a new tyre for Wednesday.

The place is a one man band, very good prices and service.

(She saved well over £41 in a tyre price comparison to Cars2 Bradford).

In a bizarre coincidence, as we were travelling home through Hove Edge, the on board computer reported "Uno problemo da Pirelli" clever these French computers.

We stopped and  I had a butcher hook at the thing and it was doing a mega "Hissing Sid" with the pressure way down, but fortunately the tyre was only flat along the bottom.

We legged it back towards PSM but we had to stop 3 times to use the air pump to inflate the thing - the air pump only just putting more air in than Hissing Sid was exhaling - a long job - with 20 psi the maximum we manged.

A broken Stanley knife blade was imbedded in the centre of the tyre indentation, and the 'hole' was too big to be plugged. Just wait till I see Stanley.

I let out a heartfelt PSI  and said to Sue:-

"Fortunately the bad tyre was the one that we were replacing on Wednesday and not one of the newer ones!".

I know it's upsetting, but life is sometimes a bit of a let down...

ask Judd Trump (with only £200,000 to spend).

Birds:-

With all that fiasco, not much birding time till early evening today with a walk along the fields, up Ned Hill Lane and along Percy Road.

A good few Linnet are hereabout now.

Little Owl.

Lesser Black-backed Gull.

A few Swallow.

Curlew calling and Skylark singing.

Pr. Stock Dove, Pied Wagtail.

'Possibly calling Little Owl'
'Possibly not'
Could just be a Wader species.
(Hope it's loud enough to here though the blog)
