Back from Ilkley this afternoon and a late evening stroll up the local fields, still looking for an illusive local mega!
Not much happening, large Gulls passing by, one landing on a telephone pole.
The Little Owls took some finding having probably been disturbed by "Carpet Mick's" sit-upon lawn mower.
I eventually located them in a different area.
A muggy 'looks like rain' evening remained dry.
A Fox approached, looked at me , and zoomed off.
Birds:-
2 Little Owl.
Large Gulls passing through. 1 landing on a telephone pole, looked interesting.
2 Stock Dove, 4 Swallow plus 15 passing Swallow as I sat in the garden later.
5 Mistle Thrush landing in the big Ash Tree, opposite our house, earlier this aft.
Its reassuring when there is a large dry stone wall between you and Mr. Ram
