Garden Watch - Ogden - Garden Watch - Local

Garden Watch a.m.

A garden watch for a couple of hours this morning brought with it 5 Mistle Thrush >NW.

Seven Magpie together very agitated about something - maybe a cat.

Nothing much else - quite cold out of the sun.

Ogden:

A couple of hours at Ogden late morning, early afternoon, cool, windy but sunny.

A Great Spotted Woodpecker called as I did a circuit of the water.

Others: Bullfinch, Long Tailed Tit, Gt. Crested Grebe.

c40 Gulls, Cormorant, Pied Wagtail.

Kestrel over the east side new plantation.

Chiffchaff calling.

A stroll along the road to the Golf Course Club House and back was a quiet do.

4 Buzzards were "thermalling" together over Soil Hill - seen from Rocks Road.

Garden Watch p.m.

A short gander skywards from the garden (didn't bring any Ganders) brought with it 2 Buzzards making 6 seen in all today.

Local Fields - Late Evening.

2 Meadow Pipit, 4 Starling, 2 Kestrel, 1 Little Owl, Wren, Black Headed Gull, Common Gull, Lesser B B Gull.

A flash of a Thrush sized bird that landed in a conifer - I took a photo but did not think I'd got it. It would appear that I have, But I'm unsure of the sp.

(Probably a Sparrow cheers Matthew)

****************************************************************

By some devious method unknown to humans my laptop decided that I should go on a distant holiday and consequently put itself into flight mode, putting the Wi=Fi and the mouse to sleep.

I DID NOT TOUCH ANYTHING YOU STUPID, STUPID MACHINE!!!

Ah Bisto ... After that brattish outburst ,I feel so much better now - only took me 30 minutes to find out what the the little buggar had done and put it right.

My laptop is grate.❤
