Coley / Priestly Green Area

My usual walk this afternoon from Coley Church - down the bridleway and through Priestly Green and down a bit further towards A58 then back again.

Another very, very cold sunny pleasant afternoon.

Lots of Thrushes here today, zooming about to keep the interest going.

Good to see many trees / bushes laden with bright red berries as well.

This is a really pleasant walk with easy parking and some great bridleways,

Birds:

30 + Redwing.

Just 2 Fieldfare seen - must have been more!!

6 or so Common Gull.

6 or so Black Headed Gull.

2 Mistle Thrush.

A Sparrowhawk looking for its dinner upsetting the smaller birds.

A Buzzard perched quietly in a tree - a long way off.

Good to see a Little Owl north of Coley Chase.

3 very active Squirrel.

2 Distant photos above -  Woodpigeon? maybe!
Looks to have a big wingspan.
