Local Stroll and Skircoat Area

A busy day today started with a very quick walk up / down Bradshaw Lane and Taylor Lane.

Late afternoon and after a visiting a friend at Skircoat Green, I had a (very cold) saunter along the Skircoat Green area finishing up near St, Jude's Church.

Birds:-

Local Stroll (a.m.):

Not a lot happening this cold sunny morning!

Pied Wagtail flushed from the  lower Taylor Lane midden.

9 Common Gulls were feeding in the fields in the sun.

Skircoat Green:

Flipping cold here this aft!

A bit disappointing really.

4 Mistle Thrush.

Starlings.

Goldfinch.

Elsewhere a Peregrine was seen.

No CafĂ© again!

We had to make do with a MacDonald's with Emma this aft.

Boo Hoo times two.

Looking east from home last night:-

The Moon.

And to the south of the moon:-

Mars Perhaps?
