Skipton Castle Woods

We had to make a journey to Howdens Mobility, Keighley today and we also incorporated a shopping trip to Skipton as well (being half way there).

A cold dry outing with some sunny bits and some very dark bits.

Before looking through the shops, we had a short walk through Skipton Woods.

Afterwards we had the obligatory café stop, this time at the Coffee Mill Café in Skipton (down a side street off the main square), where a very enjoyable Turkey sarnie and mince pies with rum sauce was on my menu.

Can't fine our weighing scales at the moment , I think it's worried about being crushed and  it is hiding from me.

Birds:-

Usual Tit species in good numbers.

Quite a few Nuthatch but they were very flighty.

Jay.

Buzzard.

A very slim looking Heron.

Dipper.

Kingfisher.

and a few others.
