Bingley St. Ives and Local Fields

The usual exercise walk with friends at Bingley St. Ives - a walk around the perimeter, followed by the usual stop at Stephen Smith's Garden Centre for a coffee and a Santa Clause turkey sandwich with a few trimmings yum...yum...yum.

If I carry on with this cafĂ© malarkey,  I'll soon be struggling to fasten me strides !!

A colder day with dark skies but it remained dry during the outing.

A few birds were seen, but not really a birding outing.

Late afternoon I had a very short walk up the local fields where it was very, very dark and the wind was on the increase, but, it remained dry.

Birds:-

St. Ives:

Buzzard mobbed by a Crow.

Treecreeper (looked unusually small).

Mute Swan.

2 Nuthatch.

3 Drake Goosander, 2 Tufted Duck, Black Headed Gulls.

Local Fields:

Very, very quiet with just the odd Gull seen.

The Little Owl was in residence.

Hopefully we are due some cold, dry, sunny weather this week, before Snow?

(and some rare(er) Wildfowl?)
