A mid-morning drive over to Ogden and a circuit of the water turned out to be a wet do.
It rained throughout the walk just stopping for a while when I got home.
It was good to chat to CS on his motorised sleigh carrying Christmas trees back and forth - well forth really.
Very, very quiet around the circuit with plenty of contact calls here but very few callers seen.
Even with all this wain the Raggalds flood was on wane (just a few Crows here).
Very wet this afternoon and I gave the local fields a miss today.
A Robin was singing outside in the dark at 5.30 am this morning.
Birds:-
Mallard, c30 Small Gulls, 1 Herring Gull, 7 Canada Geese, 3 Drake Teal in the middle.
A small Duck flying over the water on far side from me looked like a Goldeneye but it landed and morphed into a Teal alas.
