Local Fields and White Windows Sowerby Bridge

Abi and Emma to entertain today but I did get a short walk up the local fields this morning before Abi surfaced.

We took Abi and Emma to a very busy Sowerby Bridge Wetherspoons for a late-ish lunch.

I had a nosy around the White Windows Car Park trees while we were there.

Birds:-

Local:-

Garden:

2 Kestrel were seen at differing times from the garden this morning.

Both passed by in a hurry.

Local Fields:

Kestrel, Pheasant, 1 Little Owl.

c20 Common Gulls and 2 Black Headed Gulls at one time.

A Herring Gull, distant, over Oats Royd area.

White Windows:

Lots of birds flitting about here.

Great Spotted Woodpecker.

4 common Tit species.

8 Redwing.

c6 Chaffinch.

3 Bullfinch.

Some very dubious distant Brambling photos - the photos are rubbish - take a look.

But I believe one of the birds is a Brambling.

and some others bird sp.

Dubious Brambling (1).
Bill looks right for Brambling.

Dubious Brambling (2).
Bill looks wrong on this bird.
Could just be a Redwing.
