A calm, quiet, dull sort of day with nothing much happening.

Just Gulls passing high during a short sky watch this morning.

We had an exercise walk after lunch along Bradshaw Lane, Percy Rd, Taylor Lane, etc where a couple of Kestrel were seen.

I had a short walk up the usual local fields, later, where a Little Owl was on the deck before moving to a wall top.

A few Common and Black Headed Gulls were feeding in the fields and one Herring Gull was seen at distance.

A Great Spotted Woodpecker was in one of the gardens as I came back down the track.

Mild and calm weather until Friday (?) buts some news of a "beast from the east" arriving at the end of February.

I hope not , the forecasters occasionally get their facts slightly wrong, so time will tell.
