Bradshaw Fields & Garden Sky Watch

A very busy morning and just time for a mid-afternoon stroll up the local fields, was all I could manage today,  plus an evening sky watch from the garden.

It was a breezy outing and I did get caught in a heavy shower - not a lot happening.

The sky watch was mainly peppered by Buzzards.

They appeared over Oats Royd mostly and then the Crows ??? start to mob them.

2 Buzzard were up together at one point.

I am unsure how many Buzzards I saw this evening but I'm guessing more than 3.

The trouble is the great  distance they are from my house and some birds were very very high.

Birds:-

2 Lesser Black-backed Gulls - one landing in the horse field.

4 other large Gulls over head.

2 Little Owl (2 heard, 1 seen).

Curlew calling > Soil Hill area.

4 Stock Dove.

Garden:-

Probably 4 Buzzard - all distant.

2 Large Gulls, very high.

I'm thinking Lesser Black-backed Gull.
But I'll take a look at some books after tea.
Running well late today!!
