First job this morning was a visit to Dewsbury Hospital with Emma (Ugh).
Abi has promoted herself to chief wheelchair pusher so that is a great help.
Then we did some clothes shopping at the large Tesco Xtra thereabouts (Ugh x 2).
A visit to Macdonalds was , not too Ugh ,before returning to Sowerby Bridge.
On the return to Sowerby B. Sue dropped me at Salterhebble Lock and I had a humid walk along the canal to meet up with her and Abi at the canal basin.
The White Windows gardens had lots of Butterflies this sunny morning, included a Red Admiral, Meadow Brown, Comma ? and a Small White ?
The canal walk was a quiet affair:-
3 Swift, c40 Canada Geese, c35 Mallard and a Grey Wagtail with a pronounced white wing bar and a few other sp.
A short garden sky watch this morning had a few Lesser Black-backed Gulls over and a mega high distant Raptor drifted WSW - probably a Sparrowhawk.
