A very, very windy dark mild-ish sort of day that promised some wet stuff but little rain
fell here.
I just managed a short evening walk up the local fields.
The walk was helped by the sight of two Raven occasionally being mobbed by the local
Crows.
They were flying a lot of the time , over the tree tops, with their legs down (whatever that means in Raven-speak) but never landed before going out of sight west.
Given the really strong wind I don't suppose I did that bad?
Birds:-
Pr. Raven.
7 Mistle Thrush.
(4 Mistle Thrush seen airborne later, were probably some the same birds).
2 Stock Dove flying like bullets with the wind.
A Kestrel was hunting the hillside, through out, but caught nowt - a hard life.
c40 mostly small Gulls , with the odd Lesser Black-backed Gull.
