Local Birding

Abi is a teenager on Tuesday so we took her and her mum out for

A meal at lunchtime today.

Earlier I had a garden viz mig for an hour or so while the ladies got ready.

There was some helpful clouds at times and also some bright sunshine

as well. 

I suppose my garden is not ideal for Viz Mig but it was an interesting hour 

nonetheless.

Late evening I had my usual (cold) walk up the local fields.

Birds:

Garden and Viz Mig.

55 Pink Footed Geese ene.

Pied Wagtail.

Raven west.

Bullfinch (unusual for my garden).

King Cross.

Buzzard (picked out by Abi ).

Sowerby Bridge.

2 Cormorant on a tall chimney.

8 Swallow calling ....  a Sparrowhawk in among them.

Local Fields:

5 or so Lesser Black-backed Gull over.

10 Common Gull with one Black Headed Gull.

Green Woodpecker.

Little Owl.
