Boundary Mills 'Reservoirs' / Bradshaw Fields.

A visit to Colne this morning was very foggy in places.

I was hoping to look at some reservoirs on the way there in case some 'Swans'

had dropped in overnight but...

I could not even see Watersheddles Reservoir by the roadside, so we decided to look at the reservoirs on the return route.

A look around Boundary Mills did not relieve me of any spondulicks from my wallet.

We had a short walk around Colne town centre before opting to share a chicken wrap and

side salad at Spoons for lunch - we did have a coffee EACH - all for £8.50 ish -boy we do live it up.

Reservoirs:

Birds not playing ball today at all.

Watersheddles:

Nothing on the water.

Ponden:

A bit of excitement with a distant bird under a tree by the water's edge that I thought

at first might be a very late Wader.

After I got some better pics, in better light, the birds morphed into a Teal.

Not much else - a few Pheasant and Mallard, Fieldfare.

Lower Laithe:

Quite a few Gulls on the water and the Ironwork here.

Leesshaw:

A few Gulls on the drink.

A 'field-full' of Canada Geese.

2 Buzzards.

3 Pheasant.

Bradshaw Fields:

No 2 evenings the same - buzzing here yesterday - deads-ville today.

A very cold, strong easterly wind not helping I guess.

(Buzzard - over the garden earlier).

Kestrel.

Buzzard.

Just a few Gulls airborne - fields bereft of them.

Ponden:

Video of Teal.
A 'tad' wobbly on full zoom alas.

Distant Teal.

Lower Laithe:

Leeshaw:

Bradshaw Fields:

Nighty Night.
